Down Days was built to hit a rare balance; core surf credibility with mass audience appeal. We concepted and produced the series for VANS to capture the unfiltered spirit of surf travel while delivering cinematic storytelling that spoke to both insiders and newcomers.


Starring VANS pro surfers Dane, Tanner, and Patrick Gudauskas, the series followed their journeys through eight countries including Morocco, Iceland, Japan, and Spain, blending food, culture, surf, and connection into a globally relevant narrative. Every episode was designed to feel athlete-led and authentically spontaneous, while maintaining full creative control from the brand side.


We also led the facilitation of a first-ever partnership between VANS and Red Bull TV, expanding the series’ distribution across Red Bull TV, YouTube, and social. Built as a multi-format ecosystem, the series included 16 full episodes along with modular cuts for digital and platform-native storytelling.
